A complete piano education for young students, done with passion and care in Campbell, CA.

My students call me "Ms. Lora." I am a piano teacher who specializes in music education for students ages 5-18. I teach one-on-one piano lessons in my home studio, where I nurture each student's expressive faculties and unique performance personality.

As a Russian-trained music educator, I help students acquire piano proficiency by teaching a solid foundation of technical skills, music theory and form. The curriculum in my studio is not complete without many opportunities for students to interact and learn from one another by playing duets and studying key moments in piano history.

 

Over the past 27 years, I have taken numerous students through to advance levels at the Certificate of Merit exams run by the Music Teacher's Association of California (MTAC) and watched them flourish at piano recitals, festivals and competitions across the Bay Area. 

 

I hold degrees in piano performance and music education from Glinka Music College and the Belarusian State Pedagogical Institute. Prior to emigrating to the USA, I taught at the Central Music School in Minsk and led the Children's Philharmonic Choir. I have been an active member of the Music Teacher's Association of California (MTAC) since 1992 and was chair of the MTAC's student piano program. I am the current chair of the San Jose International Piano Competition's student recitals.
